McMahon-Hadder Insurance, Inc. was formed in 1999 with the merger of two of Pensacola's prominent Independent Insurance agencies. Donald McMahon, III returned to the insurance industry in 1990 to form Donald McMahon and Associates, Inc. Bill Hadder established Wm. H. Hadder Insurance, Inc. in 1986. The merger of McMahon and Hadder has allowed the full service multi-line agency to meet the insurance needs of over 5000 individuals and families in Northwest Florida. McMahon-Hadder Insurance, Inc. also provides commercial insurance and risk management to over 1000 business customers.

In 2000, McMahon-Hadder Insurance, Inc. purchased USA Insurance Center, Inc. and Advanced Insurance, Inc. in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This allows McMahon-Hadder Insurance, Inc. to expand its services to most of Northwest Florida.
